20 Bedroom Tray Decor Ideas With Flowers, Jewelry and Pretty Details

Looking for bedroom tray decor that goes beyond a candle on your nightstand? Little jewelry dishes, pink flowers and gold-colored handles give you plenty to work with.

These ideas range from small bedside catchalls to larger displays for your dresser.

You can keep it simple or go all out. Start with a tray you love, then add a few things you actually want nearby.

Some of these displays sit outside a bedroom, but their colors and arrangements are lovely ideas to borrow.

Pretty tray arrangements to try in your bedroom

round tray and pink floral dish

We’re starting off with this pretty pale tray and its little pink floral dish. The amber candle jar and clear reed diffuser look lovely together, with everything gathered inside the raised rim.

For your own bedside version, I’d use a clean floral dish for rings. Keep any burning candle well away from the diffuser and its reeds.

white flowers and gold details

How gorgeous is this gold-colored tray? I love the tall white flowers and the pearl-like strand draped around the decorative bottle.

The mirrored base reflects the clear petal-shaped candle holder too. If you want to follow this look, keep the candle unlit while the tray is on your bed.

framed art and a dark bottle

This may just be one of my favorite arrangements here. The burgundy surround inside the gold-colored frame looks so pretty behind the dark bottle and black compact.

Try leaning a small framed print at the back of your tray. A little lidded box gives you somewhere to set your compact, just like this one.

perfume bottles beneath a round mirror

If you are looking for something simple to arrange on a dresser, this one is for you. Perfume bottles line up beside white and black candles on a pale rectangular tray.

I especially love the tiny ring dish at the front. Leave yours easy to reach rather than tucked behind the taller bottles.

stacked books and white roses

I am obsessed with this large woven-pattern tray. The white roses are so pretty beside the stacked books, with a separate little dish for jewelry.

For a bedroom bench, try a similar arrangement with books you already own. Keep the flowers to one side so your favorite cover still shows.

green stems and everyday essentials

Don’t want your tray to be purely decorative? No problem!

This brown rectangular tray has room for a key dish and remote alongside a cream vase and amber candle jar.

This one is shown on a table beside seating. Borrow the arrangement for your bedroom by giving your remote its own open spot rather than hiding it under a book.

little cloud-shaped catchall

How cute is this cloud-shaped dish? The cream outline looks so sweet with the gold-colored rings and hair clip inside.

You don’t need a large display to try bedroom tray decor. A small catchall like this leaves space around it for your headphones, drink and a little pot of flowers.

pleated lamp and green journal

This is such a pretty way to bring a journal into your display. The green cover sits beside a little pleated lamp, with a pink tube resting on top.

I love the clear containers and perfume bottle grouped on the white square underneath. Try keeping your journal on the opposite side so you can lift it out without moving everything.

butterflies and tiny flowers

The butterfly fans are going to love this! Pink and green butterflies sit among tiny colorful flowers all over the long rounded tray.

I’d let that pattern show rather than fill the whole thing. A pair of earrings at one end would be a sweet little addition to your nightstand.

silver shine and pink matches

If you are looking for lots of little details, then this one is for you. There are shiny jars, an ornate lidded box and even a clear dome over the candle.

The pink-tipped matches are my favorite part. You could also borrow the idea of using a clean, empty candle jar to hold a brush and small grooming essentials.

guest tray with rolled towels

Want a little guest-room inspiration? This large brown tray brings together rolled towels, white flowers, a framed photo and a small Wi-Fi card.

The little lamp is such a lovely extra touch. For a tray sitting on bedding like this, swap the burning candle for a flameless one.

brown tray with a watch and ring

Don’t want flowers or candles on your nightstand? No problem there!

This brown tray keeps things simple with a watch, keys, a ring and dark-centered cufflinks.

I love the curved sides and visible stitching around the edge. There’s still plenty of the patterned base showing between the smaller pieces.

gray tray with gold handles

Searching for “tray decor ideas bedroom” and want something neutral? This is a lovely starting point.

A gray round tray holds a dark book, leafy stems and a pale candle.

I especially love the gold-colored handles against the gray. You could repeat that detail with a small gold-tone picture frame nearby.

simple speckled oval

If you’re looking for a tray without any bright colors or extra decoration, go with a pale oval like this. The little pits and streaks across the surface give it plenty of detail on its own.

Lay yours flat on a dresser and try just a perfume bottle and ring dish to start.

ornate edges and stemmed glasses

I love the scrolling handles on this silver-colored tray. The stemmed glasses, rolled towel and small tin make it a much fuller arrangement than the simple catchalls above.

This is shown on a counter against a tiled wall rather than in a bedroom. For a dresser version, I’d borrow the tray shape and use one empty stemmed glass for jewelry.

black tray with gold accents

This black-and-gold pairing is so pretty. The textured base holds a dark candle jar, a small perfume bottle and a long candle snuffer without looking crowded.

Try the same few-piece arrangement on a dresser. Keep a lit candle on a stable surface away from throws, rather than on the seating shown here.

white pumpkin and trailing beads

Give your tray a little fall update with a white pumpkin like this one. I love the pale beads spilling toward the edge and the rounded green leaves above them.

This table display is a lovely idea to borrow for a bedroom chest. A flameless candle would let you keep the surrounding decorative details without an open flame.

tiny trees and white reindeer

How adorable are these little reindeer? They sit in front of tall miniature trees inside a round tray with loop handles.

You can bring this holiday arrangement onto a bedroom dresser too. I’d choose a flameless candle beside the trees and keep the same white-and-green colors.

pink scallops and matching flowers

I am obsessed with this pink tray. The scalloped edge is just so cute, especially with the pink flowers and little open jewelry box.

The gold-colored candle snuffer and bracelet are lovely finishing touches. If pink is already part of your room, this is a pretty way to bring it onto the dresser.

leaf patterns in light and dark

Last but definitely not least, we have these pretty leaf-pattern trays. I love the pale cream and gold-colored shapes on the front one, with the darker version peeking out underneath.

Choose the light version for a subtle bedside detail or try the black background if you want the little leaf shapes to stand out more.
